According to HUD, about one-third of the homeless population are veterans. The VA estimates that on any given night, there are roughly 67,000 veterans sleeping on the streets.
Nearly half of our homeless veterans served during Vietnam era. And about one-third served during war time.
Our veterans need a coordinated effort to provide housing, meals, basic health care, substance abuse aftercare, mental health care, personal empowerment, and much more.
Our goal is to provide a hand-up to those who have served.
